New design and presets for the Montain Echo:

I also want to mention that I am nearly finish editing the Tama set and the Gretch set!

I have now recorded 3 new drumset in 6 settings and percussion...!!

1. A 9 piece Tama Artstar 2 which is exactly like the drumset Larsh Ulrich used after the black album. There is only 25 made of these set.
2. A very cool champagne sparke Gretch set from the seventies.
3. My Fab Four Ludwig again but this time in a jazz setup.
4. Same set with brushes.
5. Same set with Mallets
6. Same set with Rodsticks.
7. Over 50 different percussion instruments.

All this will take some time to edit, but I have gathered some helo so hopefully I will be finished during summer.

It's that time of year again where I pull myself out of other things and into this project. To clarify to everybody, September 21’Th 2009 I became a dad for the first time and anyone who has ever done such prestigious work knows how much time it takes. I am no different than any other guy, so I have dedicated all my time to my little Uma. It's been great and I am very happy. BUT, now it is time to pick up the pieces of Mydrumset. SO, what is happening?

Well, to tell you the truth I have a fully working plugin with 4 functional drumset.
1. My famous Ludwig Fab Four drumset that sounds like a fat rock set.
2. A Pearl Masterworks that is very useful for RnB. Big kick and tight snare.
3. A Pearl Master Studio with 4 toms. Perfect for Pop music
4. A Pearl Masters Studio played with padded clubs.

I have scheduled to record:
5. TAMA Lars Ulrich signature set. The white one the he used after The Black Album. Will be fun! 2 Kick drums!
6. A Gretch Jazz set from the 70's.
7. Same set played with brushes.

Now all this will be recorded in June. I then have to do the editing but the good thing is that the software is finished, so I only have to add sounds which is painstakingly boring but only takes a couple of weeks.
THEN, I need to code some sort of copy protection and find a distributor. So maybe after the summer everything is finished.
BUT, since I don't have to finish everything before I release, I might start to sell out each drumset as a plug.

PRICE:
What do you think the price should be? 6 different drumset including brushes, mallets and rodsticks. And loads of percussion....

NAME:
The name is going to change and I have a couple of ideas. I am still open for suggestions.

Over a year after last post, it is great to bring the news that My Drumset is currently going strong. I have spent a year recording and producing bands, even writing a manuscript, but now I have desided to finish it once and for all. Now it might still take a while before I finishe all the drumsets I want in the plug, but the good news is that I love to work on it again and just resantly I've recorded 3 new drumsets that sounds amazing. I am currently looking for BETA testers so drop me a line and we'll talk.

Some other news are that I might be changin the name to something else. I found it difficult to promote the name because there are so many people writing about their drumset, that I am afraid I'll be lost in the number of other articles. Any name suggestions are being taken seriously.

The last I want to mention, is that My Drumset will be the first plugin that will be able to have users put their drums into the plug. Now to do such a thing will take some work, but wouldn't it be cool if you could have a picture of your drumset with a little text on the plug! This will cost a bit, but it will definatly be super cool.

Still no changes in the Mydrumset development. I am waiting on an udate on the software I am using to make it all work. Be patient. I am single guy on this monsterous project.

Congratulations to myself on the new webpage that is almost finish. The store will open when Mydrumset version 1.0 is finish. I am very satisfied and since I did all the stuff by myself, I am now giving me a nice pat on the back! Hope you enjoy it.

I guess everybody is wondering when Mydrumset will be finished, and I can tell you that it is going to take a while. Maybe 2-3 months. I am in the process of planning what kind of drums to record and in what way. I am also waiting for a update in the program I am using so the CPU usage will go down. So far I am thinking of a Ludwig fabfour, Ludwig classic birch, Yamaha maple custom, Fibes seethrough, DW and a Tama. More to come. There will also be different packs and expansions. The expansions will include strange sets and percussion.

Great review of my beta version of Mydrumset in Sound on Sound!!! The sound quality is quite remarkable it says:-)

This website was made in a rush, so it's time to update it. You will therefore see changes here often. The website will be kept open while I am fixing it. Hopefully the new site will be finished in some weeks.

The excellent Mountain Echo is now released. Everybody that had a problem with the rar file can now download again. File fixed.

I am back from a delightful cruise around Italy. Relaxing times and lots of beverages!
When I came back I saw that the download amount of my plugins had reached 4000! That is a new world record in downloading free plugins. Congratulation!

The Theremin had a bad RAR file wich made the file corrupt. It is now fixed and you are welcome to download.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!
Toontrack has released an excellent MIDI library for free called EZplayer. Go to www.toontrack.com and download it.
Set the output to of the MIDIchannel to Mydrumset plugin and set the input of the MIDIchannel to EZplayer.
Use the wrap function in EZplayer to General MIDI.
Use the realtime transpose future for the MIDI track in youre DAW and set it to 24 semitones.
If you hit play in the EZplayer or if you import one of the MIDI files Mydrumset plugin will play.
